Cute but treads come off

Sweet little wooden toys. Smaller than anticipated (that's on me for not looking at specs). Major design flaw is that the rubber band-like treads come off easily and after one time of playing with new toys, two treads are long gone. After the third tantrum over missing treads, they are out of rotation.
