My toddlers were obsessed with these for the first day or two we had them. Since they have batteries we didn't let them go free range with them and kept them in a safe place. After the second day, we started to notice the flaws. First, the fan attachment does not stay securely "clicked" into the battery pack. My child was constantly bringing it over to me to snap it back on. After a few hours of this, she and I became tired of it and put it away. Second, the light stopped working after two days. Again, very annoying. Finally, after purchasing, I noticed that this same exact product is sold on Amazon for a lower price by the Mindware company. This was disappointing not only because I could have purchased it for less, but I could have also received it in 2 days (with free shipping) instead of 7 days (without free shipping). I trusted Kaplan to deliver a quality product and I was wrong.
