Territory Manager – Northern Illinois & Chicago
Luis came to Kaplan with a strong background in merchandising, a history of dedicated service in the Marine Corps, and an active interest in helping educators get the resources they want and need. Luis currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, with his wife and three children, where he enjoys working out, going camping, or doing just about anything outdoors. As an educational sales consultant with Kaplan for roughly 23 years, Luis still believes the best part of his job is the opportunity to help others and make educators' lives easier.
Luis currently covers the Chicago and Northern Illinois territory for Kaplan. This region includes the cities of Rockford, Elgin, and Aurora, as well as the counties of DeKalb, Kendall, Will, Kane, and McHenry. Luis works closely with a number of organizations in the Chicago Metro and broader Illinois area, including El Valor, Chicago Metro AEYC, and the Illinois AEYC.
Luis also acts as Kaplan's Regional Manager for the territory he covers as well as the broader Midwest region, including the states of Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
