Amy came to Kaplan with over 8 years of experience at a publisher of early childhood curricula and resources. Having been immersed in the field of education for many years, Amy has an immense amount of experience talking to teachers and assisting them with solutions to the challenges they are facing in the classroom.
Amy lives in Royal Oak, MI, where she doubles as a live-in chef and assistant to her Scottish terrier Ruckus. As a sports aficionado, she enjoys keeping up with the local sports teams in her free time. She never shies away from a DIY project or trying the newest restaurant in town.
The territory Amy covers for Kaplan spans across Michigan, including Detroit, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Flint, Muskegon, the Upper Peninsula, and surrounding areas. Amy works closely with a variety of organizations in Michigan, including NAEYC, the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children (MiAEYC), and the Michigan Head Start Association (MHSA).
